Pirate's Alley Cat
Pirate's Alley, located between the Cabildo and St. Louis Cathedral, is the most popular place for sidewalk artists to display their work. According to legend, its name was changed from Orleans Alley to Pirate's Alley because pirates once dueled there. It is safe to say that no pirates have been spotted dueling in the area for decades so today you can enjoy a stroll through Pirate's Alley to view the art work.
